ABOUT KORRA STUDIO
A cybersecurity studio built around the mentor, not the algorithm
Most of the industry is racing to automate teaching away. We're doing the opposite: pairing a structured curriculum with real practitioners who show up for you, session after session.
Why humans, not just videos
Cybersecurity is easy to learn badly and hard to learn well. Recorded courses can hand you facts, but they can't watch you get stuck, ask why you made a call, or push back when you're about to build a bad habit. As more of the industry hands that job to chatbots and auto-graded quizzes, we're going the other way: every learner at Korra Studio has access to a real mentor who works in the field, on top of a curriculum built to be worked through properly rather than skimmed.
How we teach
Three things run in parallel rather than in isolation: a curriculum that builds in order, a mentor who checks your understanding, and lab work you actually do rather than watch.
Structured segments
The self-serve curriculum (DEFENSE_GRID, our learning platform) is organised into segments and modules that build on each other, so you always know what comes next and why.
Live mentors
1:1 sessions and small group classes with practitioners who review your work, answer the question behind the question, and keep you honest about what you actually understand.
Real lab work
Hands-on exercises and lab environments, not just slides — you build, break, and fix things, because that's the part of the job the reading never teaches.
What we teach
Security fundamentals through to advanced offensive and defensive practice, plus the two skills reshaping every tech role right now: working with AI day to day, and building software with AI-assisted ("vibe coding") tools without losing the judgement that catches when they get it wrong.
Who it's for
We built separate paths because a teenager, a career changer, and a business owner walk in needing very different things — the mentor and the curriculum adapt, the standard doesn't.

Our standards
A mentor at Korra Studio is someone who does this work, not someone reading a script. We keep groups small enough that a mentor knows where you're stuck, and feedback is honest rather than padded — you'll hear what's wrong with your approach as clearly as what's right with it.
- verified_user Practitioners who work in the field, not career instructors only
- groups Small groups, so a session is a conversation, not a lecture
- forum Direct, honest feedback — the kind that actually changes how you work
See it for yourself
Look through the curriculum, or tell us what you're trying to learn and we'll point you at the right door.
